Ok, so I found this website called veoh.com where you can watch free videos. The only problem is you have to download it and I need to know if it's safe for you computer. Like, it won't send a virus into it or make it SUPER slow. Because I have already made that mistake with another website similar. Please tell me if it will do that to your computer and if you download it will it add things onto your computer. Easy 10 pts for the most informative answer!

I am a "Veoh", beta tester. The software is 100% clean including all the downloads.
You don't have to download any videos. They are downloaded automatic. The odd time, you may want to watch a video and it will say that you must download to be able to watch the video.
Myself, I found the pictures quality to be as good as HD TV.
Just make sure that you have ADSL, or higher and the resources in your system. And don't forget to always go into your "C" drive and clean out all the temp. files as the downloading of videos, etc. etc. can fill your HDD, up really quick.

The software is fine. I have it and it hasn't screwed up anything on my computer. It's pretty cool because you download videos you like (in a locked flv format) and watch them with Veoh Player anywhere even if your not connected to the internet. You also don't have to wait until the video buffers again (especially if it's long). Unfortunately you can't convert the videos to a different format easily and stick them on your iPod, etc. but it's not bad. You can also just watch videos off the Veoh site without downloading.

You have to check your computers tolerence ( if you have an older PC/ operating system then may hurt some files.
( go to windows update.com)
I have Veoh video viewer for 4 months, and I have not had any problems with it at all .

i have downloaded veoh player and use it all the time. it makes it alot easier cuz you just open the program and search for videos and watch them. no need to go to the website anymore, and witht he player you dont need to download the movie, it just streams from the internet

I don't think you have to download anything to watch videos online in veoh except maybe Flash plugin for your browser.

I don't trust them. They built their site on stolen code and pirated videos. See link below. They were at one time loaded with spyware and malware, although they claim to have cleaned up their act. Read the link below, and then read the commentarty from actual users below that. I would proceed with caution.

no it doesnt slow down your computer...i have it and its great i watch videos all the time and i also download videos all the time...and i havent gotten a virus and my computer is still fast so...it doesnt mess it up and i would recomend it to u

yea...i have dwnload..well my brother dwnload veoh thingy on my computer..no nothing happen..it just let member who dwnload watch any video they want without limit..it pretty good..n i have used it for like 5months already n nothing happen..no viruses..
