I order online about once a week. I love it! It's great for a lazy day when I don't want to cart in a billion pounds of food myself. I order from safeway.com, and the only problem is that sometimes they short me on something I really need, but that's rare. And if you have a huge grocery list, after $150 the delivery charge goes down to $5. And the Safeway card still applies to the items so it's the same price as if I'd bought it in the store. I love it.

My husband and I have ordered online from Safeway before. It's great. Aside from not being able to look at the actual cuts of meat and weights, but we'll skip that. And the delivery charge has gone up to $15 and they still want a gratuity. And I know how much they make an hour and it's more than I make. So, for emergency deliveries it's fine if we can spare the extra money, but we stopped doing it anyway since the nearest SW is 4 blocks away. Also, online doesn't take coupons.

Excellent. I order online from Longo's at 'Grocery Gateway'. Everything you want from a supermarket include fresh produce. Don't know how I ever managed without this service. Minimum order is $50.00 and the deliver charge is $9.95 even if you buy $200.00 + of product. I get the specials as well. If I buy something & it goes on special before delivery, I still get the special price. Always on time - you chose the date & time you want it delivered and can pay via debit card or charge card.
Saves time, energy (they deliver right to the door - no loading unloading the car etc). I keep a running list of what I will need for my next order.
I live in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

I live in the Chicago area, and I have been using Peapod (an online grocery delivery service) for over a year. The product quality is great, the deliveries are on-time whenever you choose, and their fresh produce is fantastic. It's so convenient and easy, I can't imagine grocery shopping the "old" way.

Not sure yet, I am thinking about doing that very thing with a Organic Grocery shop online. It will be coming from Manitoba which is two provinces away from me. I hope I like what I get.

i wouldn't trust that. you'll probably end up with expired food, not so good looking fruits or veggies, etc. it's best if you go yourself because you can choose what you want and like.
