I am sure you are very intrigued and even a little skeptical about giving Bare Minerals a try, but believe me once you try it you will love it!

I used Bare Minerals once before, but I now prefer Sheer Cover. I need quite a bit of coverage from my makeup around my nose (redness) and I found that Sheer Cover covers everything really nicely. However, if you don't need a lot of coverage and are just looking for the "airbrushed" finish, then I would recommend Bare Minerals. If you would like the extra coverage, then Sheer Cover is definitely the way to go. They're both quite expensive though. Good luck!

It is not superior to other regular products that you can buy locally, but if you have skin problems or reactions to standard makeup, then it is a good thing to try out. I love it.
I use a less expensive version of it that was suggested by other Yahoo!Answers folks as my budget is limited. Works just as well, although the color selection is not as wide. Bare Minerals is just a tad smoother. All of these makeups have to be reapplied now and then during the day and I had problems in the summer with sweat streaks which you don't have with regular makeup.

I am gonna have to diagree with that because I think that the makeup kinda comes out a little chalky and I use mosturizer to make my skin softer but after putting on the bare minerals my skin was dry again and it didn't even cover anything... I would recomend benefit or philisophy...

I have used it for 3 years or so and I love it. I wouldn't recommend it for people with dry skin, but for normal skin it works wonderfully. The coverage is perfectly controllable, and I never need to touch up during the day. Shades can be customized to suit your exact skin tone, and it works wonders on sensitive skin.

I love it, have used it for several years now. The only things I don't use are their lipstick and mascara- but for everything else they are great. You can get good deals on their stuff from QVC- check out their website. They usually have a "try me" kit that isn't too expensive.

No, i have tried it and it does not apply to me.
The make up doesnt stay on and there is barely a difference you look the same before you even put it on.
Its just a waste of money and my face.

It is great! It gives you great coverage and it looks natural. It does not give a powdery look and it catches the light very well :)
