20 straight WJC wins. Impressive, no? Nice little SO streak to build on too.

Wookin' pa- When was that, like the early 90's? Canada has won 3 of the last 10-all in a row mind you. Prior to that Canada won 5 in a row, it just seems to be streaky but the Czechs, Russians, Finns and U.S have all had some good clubs over the last 15 years.

Puckdat- It seems the keys to success for Canada have always been strong goaltending and timely scoring. Nothing new there.

Wookin' - You say Aholes- I say passionate and knowledgable. Canada is looked at sort of like the NY Yankees when it comes to these tourneys. Jealousy I guess. The only time they might get some calls there way is vs. the US.

Sidenote- If I hear Pierre McGuire say "2 minutes for being strong" one more time I am going to puke. Come up with something new for God's sakes man.

Just kidding, but c'mon! Lately (last several years) the tournament has zero parity. Everyone knows Canada will win six months before the games even start! There's no competition for them since the Soviet break up.

If I am wrong I will literally eat these words.

I have absolutely nothing against the Canadian team, but sometimes the Canadian junior fans are complete a**holes, booing and trash talking all the other teams even though their team is usually the favorite.

The Yankees? Please don't insult the Canadian kids! They at least win honestly. You cant 'buy' a WJC medal!

My only beef is with the Canadian junior fans and announcers.

p.s. Khazakstan all the way baby!

They aren't an offensive juggeranut though. This is outstanding goaltending, strong defensive play and forwards doing the little things in their own end that's winning so far.
Club needs to score more if they want to win this. Five goals in two games and four were on the PP. I don't think they are creating enough good chances.
I'm finding the play is a little sluggish too. Not seeing a lot of the very entertaining, freewheeling offense. It's nice they win and all but, I like lots of offense.
All they need is a tie against Sweden to get a bye to the semis now as I don't expect the Danes to be much of a team.

Talk to me when CND gets some competition, eh? This pool is more watered down than an outdoor hockey rink in Tucson during July!

PuckDat...................how dare you look past the Danes.

Too bad this isn't the same Danish team we beat 52-0 at the 1947 Worlds.
