Yes, I was wondering the same thing after hearing about Bhutto's death earlier today. I think that Mr. Bush is not visiting Pakistan because he still think that here is danger within that country. Obviously he also does not want to be assassinated. Since the opposition leader of Pakistan has died the people are outraged and rioting all over the country, Bush does not want to interfere and get harmed himself. Sadly today is a very bleak day for Pakistan. I hope I answered your question and I hope Pakistan gets uplifted back to it's proper place.

He Knows what is going to happen in the future history of Pakistan During Bush's Presidency.Sine his presidency all are well planned and well executed in the Asian and central Asia countries.Bush's wants to live his life till has natural death.so he avoids going to Parkistan. And more over he will be in deep trouble if goes to Pak,Because the Commonwealth countries and the entire world will come to know about his real face that's why he avoids the visit.

Read today's Headlines! Islamic violence is not being controlled by the government. Benazir Bhutto was a sign of hope in Pakistan and they murdered her. Musharraf needs to step up and take control.

Probably because he's just starting to realize that the $1M/day he's been paying the Pakistanis to find Osama isn't a great investment. Plus, do you know how dangerous it is for him to go somewhere like that? His approval rating here is barely 30%, I'd be surprised if it was double-digits worldwide. Stay home and clear some more brush, Georgie.

You're kidding, right? He was afraid to visit New Orleans. Besides, what's the point? nobody knows what he's saying anyway. The last time he went somewhere he barfed all over a Japanese diplomat. They should've made him the ambassador to Staten Island instead of designated pres.

same reason Hillary Clinton wont, Nancy Pelosi wont, etc.

After all, Pelosi had no problem "visiting" with the leader of syria....why not go and "mend fences" with Pakistan and the al-qaida/taliban threat there?

"Me" what does it matter if he's never visited another country prior to becoming a President? Do you really think a 2-week stay in France, or a 1-week stay in Africa makes you "cultured?"

Because if he can't point to it on a map, why should he visit it?

Suicide bombers everywhere you go. Pakistan is a smelly pig hole too. The whole place smells like rotten meat.

Because there is nothing to be gained by his visit there.
