Gosh, if I had more enthusiasm for alcohol I might be tempted to go back to work. If retirement drives me to drink I'll try to find a company that has implemented this plan.

I think some of the men where I work have already started. And, it isn't a good idea. My factory is safety conscious now, so if we get hurt, we are taken for a drug and alcohol test.

"Work is the curse of the drinking classes." A sign my children's doctor had hanging in his office. Probably not PC now but he was a Mad Magazine fan and had copies of the magazine in his waiting room.

I work in a large hospital. We do open hearts daily, and all kinds of other very invasive procedures. I hope the surgeon who has my chest open and me on bypass has not been drinking. I would prefer to live.

now thats just stupid, alcohol impairs your judgement, imagine people, throwing up on their key boards, sleeping at their desk and your business smelling like vomit. the cons of drinking at work out weights the pros. what if your workers give people $10 notes instead of $5 or $50 instead of $10 because they are so tipsy they dont even know what they are doing. wouldnt your business go broke.
