√18 + √72 = 3√2 + 6√2 = 9√2

√18 x √72 = 3√2 x 6√2 = 18√4 = 18 x 2 = 36

Easy as π (pi)!

You need to factor out a common term if you can. First note that

72 = 4 * 18

So

√72 = 2 √ 18

and

√18 + √72 = √18 + 2√18 = 3√18

sqrt of 18 +sqrt of 72=

sqrt of 9 * sqrt of 2 +sqrt of 36 * sqrt of 2

3 sqrt 2 + 6 sqrt 2= 9 sqrt 2

sqrt 18 * sqrt 72

3 sqrt 2 * 6 sqrt 2= 18 sqrt 2

Just as you would any other numbers. Let's say the two numbers are a and b.

Addition - sqrt a + sqrt b = sqrt a + sqrt b (that's it !)
Multiplication - sqrt a * sqrt b = sqrt (ab)

o you just x it by pi which is 3.14 and then see what you get its simple math
