My husband had to work on Christmas Eve but it wasn't that bad. He did call me about 3 different times. He worked because we need the money. He does security at a mobile home park. Not the best job but better than nothing. He came home the next morning and cooked Christmas dinner for us and our friends and I did not have to cook anything. He got me a computer this year that I am happy to finally get. My other one was too old and too hard to use. My husband went to work on Christmas night also. All that I had to do was wash all the dishes after he went to work. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 2008!

A nice coat, Victoria's Secret perfume set, earrings, a watch made at an antique store [so pretty and 1 of a kind], pajamas and a stocking full of games, facial masks and other pampering products. Oh, lots of chocolate to!
He also took off 5 days to spend time together since he works a lot. Thoughtful and sweet.
He went for everything I love and would never buy for myself.

I knew I was getting a beautiful solitaire ring from him (a 4 carat prasiolite or 'green amethyst' square cushion cut set in 14 carat white gold accented with two white diamonds) 'cause he had me try it on for size in the store to see if it looked good on my hand....that was all I was expecting.....
...until he presented me with a coffee table book on predatory birds ( I love hawks).....a huge bottle of my fav scent (Chanel # 5), my fav imported belgium chocolates....and a 5 carat prasiolite oval cushion cut pendant & chain set in yellow gold and surrounded by diamonds......I couldn't believe it....I actually started to cry.....my ex never gave me a damn thing for Christmas or anything...all my kids were laughing and clapping......he said I deserved so much more 'cause I'm the best thing that has ever happened to him.....I'm gonna make sure he always feels that way about me.....lol I'm tearing up as I type here....he got some petty nifty things from me, too...said it was his best Christmas EVER.....I agree!
