why is reverse discrimination growing rapidly in America?

Question

a white lady Channon Christian, was beaten and gang-raped in many ways for four days by 4 black men and a black woman.

The animals, pictured below the photo of the victims, car-jacked, then raped Christopher Newsom, cut off his penis, then set him on fire and fatally shot him several times while they forced his girlfriend, Channon Christian, to watch.
Then they cut off her breast and put chemicals in her mouth ... and then murdered her. Where "be" the Revs Al and Jesse? Are they providing counsel and help to the families of the victims? Of course not - the victims were white.

now look. i am a black individual. but i DONT LIKE Al sharpton or Jesse Jackson because i think they are hypocrite. i hope that slowly, his words loose the power it has today.

this is unacceptable and disgusting. IT IS RACISM.

I agree with you in your assessment of the situation but I think that the reality is that people like Jackson and Sharpton only play to their support base, the majority of which is African-Americans.

In my career, 10 years of which was spent as a Crime Scene Evidence Technician, I saw a lot of really horrendous, brutal crimes committed by African-Americans against African-Americans and I also wonder if Jackson or Sharpton would expend any energy or resources in seeing to it that those perpetrators would be brought to justice. I seriously doubt it.

TOTALLY unrelated to the link, but here goes

I am just as disgusted at "reverse racism" as the original. It seems to me that more black Americans are distancing themselves with their own racist actions and teachings. By this I mean teaching their children to dislike or distrust the white man, etc. There were reparations made in an attempt to "equalize" the races, and they are now being exploited as a "right" instead of a reparation. I believe that we should all be in an equal pot, and may the best man win. Those that want to excel will, and those that want something for nothing will get nothing. By teaching children that one person is less or better than another simply because of skin tone, is teaching ignorance. Until we ALL figure that one out, there will be racism. AL & Jesse are the exploit kings. They use every media situation to the advantage of their cause...holding on to a separation of the races. Until we ALL can decide that we were created equal by God, we will fail to end racism.

I don't know that the linked story had anything to do with race, may have been coincidental. Sick either way though!

Are they being prosecuted? The issue is always about justice. If they are being held accountable then the system is doing its job.

I don't know the particulars but I abhor racism from ANY segment of society to include what some would call my own.

Crimes occur all the time. It is when the system fails to hold the criminals accountable that it becomes a greater issue.

stuff like that has been going on for years now but noone ever puts those stories out there as big news!! also i think it's getting worse because of people like al sharpton and jesse jackson who seem to think they are 'king of the black people'. I noticed that in the town I now live in they keep things like that real hush hush, but we also have a black mayor and I wonder if that has anything to do with it.....

First let commend you, for seeing the truth as it is. It is not the color of a persons skin that commit these horrible crimes ,it is the hate with in us. Like you say Al and Jessie are hypocrites They.cannot get beyond one 's black skin..they are the true racist and every black friend I have say the same thing. They have become an embarrassment to all. In fact they have become the butt ends of most jokes. And for them to call them self ,Rev is a slap in the face, to all religions. They are in to Civil Rights ,for the money and the power. The Last time I looked nobody but those, that hate even pay them any attention at all. Their words are null and void, to good God fearing people. But my heart does go out to the couple murdered. This is what hate does. I am so blessed to have the black friends I have . they are the sweetest nicest truest friend in the world And if people will lay down their hate ,they can have these same gift from God that I have. I have this Dr. friend, who has colon cancer, he left after taking his kemo treatment and weak as water, went to the fruit stand and and drove 10 miles just to bring me a fruit basket , because I was sick,. he also anointed me, and prayed for me. This is love
I have story after story,about my friends In order to have friends we must show ourselves friendly. But, I doubt you will see any body trying to defend this couple. But the civil right lawyers will be there when these people stand trial to get them off. God bless all people.that stands for truth.

Neither Sharpton nor Jackson is responsible to take up the cause of YOUR choice. If you're opposed to something, YOU should stand up. Don't wait for or expect others to do your bidding. If you do, you've nothing important to contribute by criticizing.
