This is something Ive always wanted to ask those gun control idiots,

the government should pose no law what so ever on weapon ownership of any kind (except maybe the 1-3 day waiting period)

So, if you really want all the guns to be taken out of the hands of good law abiding citizens who use it to defend themselves, would you make it so that the 2nd amendment never existed and gun ownership was never an issue.

Agree...Our forefathers put the constitional rights in order of importance....without "freedom of speech" you have No freedom.
...without having the right to protect #1, by having the right to bare arms by gun ownership you do not really have freedom of speech....so there you go! Good Point!

so the answer to your original question..the ANSWER IS NO!
If you take guns away from people who use them for defense then only the criminals have them!

Doctors' kitchen knives ban call
Knife
Doctors say knives are too pointed
A&E doctors are calling for a ban on long pointed kitchen knives to reduce deaths from stabbing.

A team from West Middlesex University Hospital said violent crime is on the increase - and kitchen knives are used in as many as half of all stabbings.

They argued many assaults are committed impulsively, prompted by alcohol and drugs, and a kitchen knife often makes an all too available weapon.

The research is published in the British Medical Journal.

The researchers said there was no reason for long pointed knives to be publicly available at all.

They consulted 10 top chefs from around the UK, and found such knives have little practical value in the kitchen.

Assuming you are a "gun owning, good, law abiding citizen", my question to you is precisely how many times you have used it to defend yourself? Do you honestly believe that the guy at the Nebraska mall cared one bit who or how many citizens he was shooting at had guns? Same with the shooter at VT.

Guns make you no safer. They only make you feel safer because you have bought the lie that having a gun will protect you.

And as far as citizens using their weapons to oust a corrupt despot who somehow gains control of the country, give me a break. How successful do you think a couple of thousand guys and gals with glock-9s or 12 gage shotguns are going to do up against the US military (who the president controls by the way) with their air force, navy, machine guns, and artillery?

No law whatsoever on weapon ownership of any kind?

Then I can have a nuclear weapon?

Why not? I'm a law-abiding citizen. If I misuse it, then put me in prison!

Nobody NOBODY ever suggested "all guns" be taken away from citizens.

That is not an argument, that is pure HYSTERIA and a falsification of the opposing side's point of view.

You can't expect any real exchange of useful information when you start off with a lie.

You should delete this and post a more truthful question.
