Do you think the Jonas Brothers show on disney channel...?

will be a correct move for their carrer? their music is AMAZING and i think they should be known for that. no doubt i am excited for them for their show but they would make their fan base VERY young. i dont know, tell me you opinions. thanks

no doubt, i LOVED them on hannah montana( ive watched that episode 16 times) but i have mixed feelings about their own show.

I think it's a pretty smart move. The boys themselves said they want to pursue acting as well as singing. I think it'll prove the fact that they are multi-talented, and can do more than just sing and look pretty. Young actors have to start somewhere, and Disney Channel is the base for a lot of them. The world is pretty unaware of their acting, and they can't just pop into the acting scene without any background. I think after their show and movie, people will take more notice of them, and they might even snag some roles in bigger movies and shows. You never know! Sure, they will gain a ton of younger fans, but that will just enlarge their fan base, and you can never go wrong with that. I think that even after acting, the Jonas Brothers will always be known for their music. They did take a chance on deciding to do a Disney Channel show, but they have so many supporting fans, and the entertainment business always has nothing but great things to say about them. I'm sure they'll do just fine!

i read in an interview that they said that the show is going to be more mature than most of the other shows on Disney Channel. And, unfortunately, a lot of their fan base already is very young.

I agree, I am not too excited about the disney channel show thing. They aren't very good actors either, no offense. They would get along fine with just singing, and I sure hope they don't ruin their image and such on some stupid disney channel show.

there fan base right now is mostly teens...i hope little kids will not start liking them because that would be wierd....im excited for the show but i wish they were still a little band...i remember when they first started and no one knew who they were and they actually called people up for hello beautiful and the meet and greats were 15 minutes with each fan....i miss the old days but i still love them no matter what happens

Are you talking about J.O.N.A.S? if you are it sounds really interesting! they're supposed to be secret agents under cover as the boy band "Jonas brothers" but they sometimes have to stop in the middle of a "concert" and go kick some villain butt!!! well I am a total jobro fanatic!! so I'm really into it! I can't wait until it comes out!!!!!!!!

I think it will be great for them. I mean, I'm 16 and I LOVE the Disney Channel and can't wait for J.O.N.A.S to come out! I know a lot of kids my age who love Disney Channel, so...I think it will be awesome!!!

Yeah i recently strted to like their music, i hope their good actors! they also have a movie coming out too, caled Camp Rock, i think that after the shpw they are going to ahev an even bigger fan base

Well I guess it could work. All of their fans (like me!!) would definitely watch it. But their music probably wouldn't be as good because they would be focusing on their acting careers.

i think the show will get them more fans.they are vey talented and i thought they did good in hannah montana. they should do good for this show too.plus they will be singing in this show.they will probably have a tour though. =]=]=]
