Hi!
My youngest son is 11 1/2 months old & still breast feeding. I have also started my period for the first time in a 1 1/2 years. Wondering how easy it would be to get pregnant again and when would be the best time to make love after it is over?
One week or two weeks???
Thanks!

PS: period started on Christmas eve.

Most women ovulate 12 to 14 days before their period starts - so if you typically have 28 day cycles - then you will ovulate 14 to 16 days after your period starts.

Here is one good tool just based on a date:

I would recommend checking out FertilityFriend.com to look into tracking your basal body temperature or invest in some ovulation predictor tests (sold by pregnancy tests in stores).

Good luck!

Are you trying to make another baby? You want to hit the middle of your cycle, or around then, for another baby.

Its easy to get pregnant any time you have sex. But now that you're period is back it'll be easier. Although with all that estrogen its hard for your body to ovulate, its easier when you're not breast feeding at all.
