That body part is designed as an exit, not an entrance, and it's not very elastic, so even a big turd is painful, and that's going the right direction. All the nerves and muscles are designed for pushing stuff out, and going the wrong way makes all those specialized "dump mechanisms" feel like something is drastically wrong, and the whole area goes bonkers trying to get rid of the intruder. Enemas are no fun for similar reasons, and there's a reason they sedate you heavily for colonoscopies.

Because the anus isn't supposed to be used for sex. It's for pooing through! The anal sphincter is very tightly closed and any attempts to open it up and insert something is going to hurt.
If you want to use this area for sex then you should use a condom and some lubricant such as KY Jelly. Take it easy at first and work up to it gradually. You'll get used to it in time, but you're still risking developing haemorrhoids because it's very easy to tear the blood vessels in the anus.

Btw, don't use vaseline and condoms together as the former will destroy the latex and thus make it useless.
Guys have to be careful about this unless very relaxed and women have even more problems as they can suffer from peritonitis which is really nasty. If doing this a lot then you can weaken the muscles and cause other complications later in life.

Because it is meant as an exit not as an enter.But I heard that if it's your first time doning it,then it will hurt.After a few times it won't be so painful anymore or there will be no pain as your @ss has got used to it.

Because people clench up! You need to be clean and relaxed and when something is enering push as if you are going #2 and that will help! Use lots of lube and have fun!
