I am (sadly) not surprised, but of course depressed at this news. Will the ways of the World ever change?
Are we slated for more and more and more violence? Will it never get better? Does this solve anything?
I'll take a moment to be more peaceful today, in my own life.

Ever just smile at someone? Especially an older person...or help them reach for something off the shelf at the store? Works wonders...
I am committed to being more peaceful in word and deed today. To those around me, random acts of kindness.

No it will never stop unfortunately. It will get worse, unfortunately. Radom acts of kindness, pass it on!!!!! Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me....remember those words from the song. I think everyone should give it a try. Peace to all

The partition of India is to blame for everything in that region. India should never have split into two religious camps when they were getting on very well living together in India.
Pakistan means "Land of the Pure". How pure is the blood that was shed today?
Gandhi warned that the partition would not be a good thing and once again that man was right.

Keep in mind though, in every culture, there was a time murder was a preferred and primary method of settling a disagreement. It's just that rest of the society has gone beyond that stage either millenniums or decades ago.
One thing scary about these (middle eastern) culture is that they do it in the name of their religion, and enough people believe they are justified.
Unfortunately, no one from outside can solve their problems. They will have to evolve on their own.

First of all Pakistan is not in the middle east, it's in south asia and maybe you will give a crap when the fundamentalists take over Pakistan's nuclear arsenal and target the west, India or Israel. This will not solve anything, it will only make an unstable region even more unstable.

Outside of your little civilized US first world bubble, the world is a violent and dangerous place.
Don't expect peace any time soon. Especially in the next few thousand years (if our species lasts that long, that is)

Yeah well we aren't so bad. Think about the middle east. Think about how bad they are. If your really mad, move to China or something.
