I would sleep during the day and study at night. Then a few days before school starts change the routine around a bit so you get used to it. Drinks loads of coffee lol.

i use to have the exact same problem as you do. what i started doing is going to bed really early (at like 6 or 7 pm) then i would wake up early in the morning (around 2am). that seemed to fix all the problems that i had concentrating in school and being late all the time.
the hardest thing will be getting to sleep that early. just turn the tv off and lay down in a quite room until you fall asleep.
btw, this will be something that you have to do everynight.

You can always fool your body clock into thinking that it is the opposite time of the day. If your problem is long term and actually serious, you can buy contraptions from Boots for around £20-£30. They are perfectly safe and used by such as long distance lorry drivers who work unstable hours.
A short term solution i was learnt/told in psychology at college, what was recommended for example if you go on a long airplane trip and are tired/your body clock is mixed up at the wrong times.
Simply shine a torch on the back of your leg, where your knee cap is. Not sure if this works but is meant to be an area of "sensor" and will fool your body into thinking is daylight.
Hope it works.good luck

Sleep when you come home from school. Wake up in the evening and live your life. You won't have many friends or be able to do a lot of socializing, but you will be functioning when you are most awake.

it sounds a bit like your nocturnal, which means you you are wide awake during the nights and feel energetic, but during days you want to sleep and not do to much. you could be really exhausted or have messed up sleep patterns. try contacting your doctor.
