okay, you need more than 10% of your best answer percentage in any category except Polls & Surveys and you need to be an active answerer to keep up with your badge and also, It's not permanent. Also, answer a lot of questions and get a lot of best answers on the category you have the most on best answers!

You must have a high (usually more than 10%) best answer percentage in a category. Just pick a category you like, get best answer on a lot of your questions, and you'll get it. Keeping it isn't as hard as getting it.
