In the following 4 year election, I expect Al Gore, Obama again and possibly Oprah Winfrey since she's decided she really likes the election experience. The other cadidates will be congressmen who voted right for whatever matters in the next 4 years and can use that record to lift himself or herself to the title of Presidential Hopeful. Perhaps hollywood types like Denzel Washington or Angelina Jolie with all their humanitarian intersts most likely being an important factor in next term's race.

Cadidates are decided based first on how much support and money they can muster initially. Then they're put through the the media and the polls to determine what their platform should be and likability by the American people. (Remember, it doesn't matter who's the most qualified. It only matters who'll have the most support.)

Who are likely candidates: Congressmen with the right voting record. Businessmen who stayed in the media for positive advancements. Eco-stars or "green" candidates. Hollywood voices of reason (with or without experience of the workings of the real world.).

The next presidential election will be held on November 4, 2008. Starting January 3rd, 2008 and running though June 3rd, 2008 the states will be having primaries and caucuses to nominate the candidates for some of the political parties (mostly the Democrats and the Republicans).

well. for the presedential election, the two main parties divide the states into states they are definately going to win. (e.g. the ding dong uneducated christians of the state of Indiana blindly vote for Republicans no matter what). the states they are definately going to lose. and the states in the middle.

the states that can go either way if left alone are the states concentrated in. the states with the most electoral votes are the ones that are concentrated on the most. they locate the counties with the most votes in these states, and have long ago seen if they can get sympathetic people to work in these crucial districts. then people vote, and the votes are counted in a way that is beneficial to the most successful party.

and in this way, the party that has evolved into the most successful vote manipulating party comes out on top by manipulating the votes in like 2-3 dozen counties in the whole united states. GG electoral voting system
