Cheerleading doesn't have gymnastics in it. It has a part of gymnastics though, tumbling. I suggest you try going to a Cheer Camp (they're available at most gymnastics centers) and then take a tumbling camp and a tumbling class.
Also, try taking a tumbling class once a week or every two weeks to learn new tricks and ask the cheerleaders on your team.
Don't be nervous. I'm sure there's others on your team who struggle to get their tumbling down. But with a little time, patience, and PROFESSIONAL help you should get it down.

I think you should take gymnastics and have someone train you for doing tricks. You will not only then be really good at having good spirit, but you will also have great moves! I also took gymnastics calss for free to see if I liked it, and it was really fun! You might also want to do it with a friend to actual have a good time and get a better feel for it. Gymnastic training are a large thought. prepare leaping. prepare cheers in front of a mirror. circulate to the library and p.c.. up the two books and video clips. prepare cheers and chants, be constructive you cheer/chant do no longer "sing". Paste a grin on your face, and function relaxing. reliable success next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days

Take a tumbling class. They will teach you everything and give you confidence.
Also, get a mat, it helps not to get hurt if and when you land on your head. (its inevitable, LOL) Ask one of your friends who can do it, to help you or spot you. Ask them for tips, or show them, and see if they know how to make it easier.
I know this sounds cheesy, but you just can't think about it. You have to think about something else, or you will get too nervous.

im 13 and did gymnastics for 6 years its nothing too be scared off !!
its hard work !! but it will make your cheerleading alot lot
better !!
