I know it sounds horrible and I don't do it all the time... but lately when guys try to have a conversation with me or express interest I tend to be really mean to them... I think it all started when I broke up with my Ex about 3 years ago. Sometimes I think it's fun or I justify my actions by saying " all they wan't is sex anyways " Any thoughts fellas?

Yes, I wish you wouldnt do that. I have a gay female friend that is really rude to guys who approach her or even just try to be friends. I keep trying to tell her that she is the one behaving badly.
They arent doing anything bad, just seeing if you might be so inclined as to talk. Why be a jerk to them? What does it accomplish? It take some guys a lot of courage to approach someone, why shoot them down? What do you get out of it?

All you really accomplish is to foster anger.

Well unless they did something to deserve your rude/meanness you are a bit out of line. I mean it's wrong to hold others accountable for your ex's actions or the memories of whatever it is he did. I know personally I hate when people have a bad day and take it out on me... You are basically doing that to random strangers. Besides one of those cute guys could be your Mr. Right and if not weed out the losers or the sex fiends and move on in life... :)

Sounds to me like it's your defense mechanism. Someone will see that's all it is and whittle their way to your heart when you least expect it.
Remember First Impressions count. So watch how you treat people because it could backfire.
For me if is sex they want and their HOT, Let's do it, for the fun of it. Life is too short not to enjoy it.

Misanthropy towards a particular sex after a break up is quite common, especially if one of the participants was quite attached to his/her partner.

Do not worry, this is only temporary and you will feel as good as you were in no time.

Until then, I strongly recommend you try to get along with other males until you feel better.

I hope it all goes well in the future.

That behavior is only going to foster you becoming another lonely, bitter, crass, jaded old queen... When you end a relationship you have to throw that baggage that comes with it out too... it's nobody's fault that you had bad judgment in the past so there's no reason to punish them now....

You need to go see a professional counselor and deal with this break up in a more healthy way.

That explains why you broke up in the first place. My guess is that he left you.

It's a defense mechanism, and I understand it. But if you don't get past it, you'll find yourself pretty lonely, pretty soon.

I think you have some relationship issues that i couldn't possibly comment upon.

The only person who can know exactly who you are and exactly what makes you tick is you.
