It sounds like you don't know what you're talking about.
The ACLU's (American Civil Liberties Union's) mission is to preserve the rights of American individuals that are guaranteed to American citizens in the Bill of Rights, which comprises the original ten amendments to the US Constitution. I have a copy of the Bill of Rights on the wall in my study here at home. The ACLU don't show anyone how to "think, walk, and talk" and "spreading love" isn't related to ANTHING they do (in fact, are you sure you aren't confusing them with e-harmony, or something?) but the ACLU challenges the US government, when the US government tries to do dictate how any US citizen, or group of citizens, should "think, walk, and talk". And that's apparently a bad thing to you, why exactly?
Since the Bill of Rights is uniquely American, and since Pakistan doesn't have a democracy, or a Bill of Rights for their citizens, your suggestion shows that either you don't understand the ACLU's mission, have no clue what they might have done that has directly benefitted YOU, or don't understand the US system of government, the US Constitution, its Bill of Rights, or anything about Pakistan.
I am a member of the ACLU, and I am happy to direct you to their Web site, so you can correct your misunderstanding about their role in protecting American civil liberties. Once you check them out, I wouldn't be at all surprised if you wanted to join us. Go to www.aclu.org for accurate information, and if you inform yourself, and then want to challenge their work, I will have all the respect in the world for your point of view.
The ACLU is the ONLY organization that is devoted to this mission. No individual member agrees with everything they do, but they typify the sentiments of the founding fathers of the USA, who set up a system of government with checks and balances to prevent the government from taking away the rights of the citizens. The fact that an organization like the ACLU can exist in the USA is testament to effectiveness of the work they do. If you are a US citizen and don't think you need your civil liberties defended from your government, you are dangerously uninformed about US history!
So, I'm confused--what actually do you think the ACLU could DO in Pakistan? Shouldn't Pakistan have a PCLU to handle their needs? ;-)

They'd be told where to go in three seconds if we sent them there. Our laws can often be used to defeat us and that is what organizations like this do for a living.

Oh, I think they have done enough damage in our own country, we don't want to inflict them on anyone else. Of course, if they were captured by the Taliban up in the NWFP, it would be interesting to see what measures they might find acceptable in effecting their rescue....

Pakistan is not within their purview. Individual rights are. If you care about them, you should admire the ACLU's efforts.
