I am looking for a business model to set up an online company that can give me tools, products and resources and allows me to run an affiliate programe and grow the business.

Idealy a company that can provide a turnkey or whitelabell solution wherby you are provided with tools and resouces to build and promote the business using various internet marketing options.

Not a network marketing company or being an affiliate for some else. Its my baby and has leverage built in by affiliates working for me.

Thanks

Internet is like anything else from cooking to cars to clothing. If the premade packages dont work for you then there is always the old do-it-yourself option.

The old affiliate program involved tracking hits on your webpage. If I have the logs for Any1Can.net then I can see hits. If I have a script that I want to have handle something then I can add to the end of the link such as Any1Can.net?this=something which creates a variable called "this" and puts the word "something" into it.

If I dont actually have a script and dont need the variable "this" it doesnt matter since the system will just ignore it. It doesnt hurt anything. If you have someone named Dommy who sends people to your shop then you can tell him to use the link of Any1Can.net/shop.html?sentby=dommy and you can easily pull all of the "sentby" references from the log whenever you want to reward your affiliates. And later, when you get too many to easily handle then you can go ahead and create a CGI script to collect those and process them to a spreadsheet or something.

If you set your shop to use something like PayPal shopping cart then I tihnk there are logs which can let you veirify that the person provided you an actual sale instead just a referral

I've not heard of ISI either. My suggestion is identifying your strengths and your passions. Once you identify them then start your search looking for something that parallels your personality. If it's jewelry then look for jewelry, if it a service that provides discounts on everyday purchases then look for that, if health is important to you or those close to you then look for something in that field. Most people that aren't successful in home based businesses have chosen products or services that they're not passionate about or that it doesn't fit their personality. It's important that you check out several things regarding companies you align yourself with. Do they take advantage of people? Is their a lot of turnover in people related to the business? How good is their support? How good is their compensation plan? Are they ethical? What differentiates them from someone else? Are the products or services as good as they say they are? Do people that use the products or services have real testimonies of the benefits? Is the product or service unique? All these things should be considered. I've been involved with several different companies and have been disappointed once I've seen the business for myself. I've recently found two companies that are unique, provide great products and services, and have great compensation plans. So keep looking and ask around. If you really want to find something you will. If I can be of furher assistance let me know.

Find something you like and know alot about and will use otherwise trying to promote something you know nothing about is really hard to do.

I use Site build it! for my sites. They have a process that they teach you in finding something you know and love and creating a site around it. You have to do some work though. That other link in the post above just goes to clickbank.com where you choose an affiliate program to promote - but you probably found that out already.
