Should I get the park hopper and try to do all 4 parks in one day or just choose one?

You only have one day, so the park hopper is not an option unless you plan on going to one park in the morning and one in the evening. Pace yourself and don't try to hit all 4 in one day. Not only will you burn yourself out you won't enjoy it. Checking it out for one day will give you a reason to go back for an extended stay.

If you have kids from middle school age and under, the Magic Kingdom is the park you want to check out. Now that is not to say that adults and teens won't like the Magic Kingdom. There is plenty to do at every park for every age. I am speaking in general. The Magic Kingdom is home to the Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, Thunder Mtn. Railroad, Splash Mtn., and much more. Plus the Castle is there, who doesn't want to see that.

If you are with kids that are from 6th grade and up, MGM would be my first choice, with Epcot a close second, followed by Magic Kingdom. MGM has a few more thrill rides and cool stunt shows than the others, such as Aerosmith Rock 'N' Roller Coaster, the Tower of Terror, the Indiana Jones Stunt Show, the Extreme Stunt show and Star Tours. Epcot not only has the World Showcase to wander through but a couple of the best rides (and fastest) in all of Disney in Mission Space, Test Track, and Soarin'.

My suggestion would be to check out the Disney website and get as much info as you can. Next, check out the disboards. The disboards is a message board website with more info about going to Disney than you could possibly imagine. You can get trip reports, tips for avoiding crowds, restaurant reviews, ideas on trip itineraries and much more. The people on the disboards are people who go quite often and know what they are talking about. I put both links below.

Hope this helps, have a great trip!

I would say if you only get to go to one of the Disney parks, it should be MAGIC KINGDOM. If you are going to do a park hopper, I would suggest maybe Magic Kingdom & Animal Kingdom. Although spending 1 day & trying to go to all 4 parks is probably not going to work. You are going to have to commute between parks & that isn't cheap nor quick. You are better just going to 1 or 2 of the parks.

Do not get a park hopper. This is your first time. there is so much to see or do in each park.

Just dedicate 1 day to a park. I would reccomend Magic Kingdom.

Just have fun and explore for yourself!

If you've only got one day I'd stick with Magic Kingdom or Epcot- depending on the ages of the people in your group. I've been a ton of times and can't imagine how sucky it would be to try all 4 in one day. You'd spend so much time rushing around you couldn't really enjoy it.

Stick with a non-hopper pass and pick a park.

Hello,
I would definatley get the hopper and go to Magic Kingdom during the day and somewhere else at night either MGM or Epcot. If you have the hopper then you will able to visit as many places as you want::)

hmmm.
i would recommend not getting a park hopper.
for only one day, if you had to rush from park to park you would feel in a hurry and as if someone was timing you! I am going for my first time in like, 2 and a half weeks, but i would definitely go to the Magic Kingdom. When you walk into the park, and see Cinderella's Castle looming over you, it is breathtaking.
Have fun!

Just pick one and know that is still gonna not give you time to see all of it. If you are taking kids I say Disney World. Remember to see It's a Small World early in the day so you can kick the ear worm of that song out of your head and if you are going to a fancy park restaurant you can get great seats at lunch time. The best food to dollar value is the Mexican place.

Just choose one. One day park hoppers are best for experienced folks who know the parks.

Since it's your first time, go to the Magic Kingdom, the flagship park. You will ride the most iconic rides and see the most iconic landmarks. You will spend the whole day there and not see it all.

You'll wear yourself out with the 4 park pass, trust me. Go to the main park, go on Pirates of the Carribean, the Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, etc all the greats, and then later go to EPCOT, see all the future stuff which is fabulous and then finish by visiting the different countries in World Showcase and have dinner where you can watch the fireworks and laser show it is spectacular.

It's hard to try and attempt all 4 parks in one day. It's your choice. I loved Sea World, but Disney World is awesome and made me feel like I was 10 again!! Have a wonderful time!
