My parents have always cared about me and my education, But they never forced studying and what not upon me like that. They just told me to do my best and I did. I ended up graduating with honors, member of beta club, band president, ect....

One kid I knew about had a nervous breakdown over getting a B or else he'd get grounded because it wasn't an A.

Unless he has issues in school and needs the studying, his parents should let him live his childhood out too, you're only given one... Lets just hope he doesn't rebel....

But parents are all different as well and maybe he can play a game later or something....

He will be glad he did.

Since he is busy studying, you ought to do the same thing. If there is nothing else to do, you might as well get some brain time in. (I know, I am a parent.)

Just do it and shut up. They know what is best for his future. He must be failing that subject and needs more work.
