The babies were born last night and we have separated the Dad from the mom to prevent the her from getting pregnant again. How long will it be before I can put them back together?

Never put the buck into the does cage as you will cause a lot of stress to the doe and the buck will try to mate the kits no matter what sex they are he will sexually molest the kits.

Do not put them back together unless you get one or both neutered. You will just keep the doe prganant all the time this way.

If you put him back in the doe may kill the kits as a defense mechanism. The buck may also kill them but most of the time it is the doe. the doe may also attack the buck and kill him to protect her kits.

Rabbits should not be kept together this way. It will lead to many problems and too many rabbits!!

Not until 8 weeks after the father has been castrated and the doe has healed from her spay.

The doe shouldn't be spayed until the kits have been weaned, which takes around 8 weeks, although for the best start in life they should be with momma for 10 weeks before going to new homes.
