I agree with 2 you just listed, on the matter of national debt, he reduced it, not increase it.

Because it makes them feel better for being wrong in electing for a second time their loser of a President GWB! He's anti- on the following: American Children's Health Care, Civil Rights, Gun Control, Increasing the minimum wage, Citizen Diversity, Poor People, Balanced buget, Minorities, Homosexuals, Voting Rights,Meaningful social programs, Free Speech, and Prosperity. None of which makes any sense, just as he is Pro- on the following: Death penalty, war( Even if the country we're fighting has never attacked us or is proven to be of no threat), Racism( Has no agenda for promoting race relations or upholding the civil rights of minorities, remember the Jena 6 case and the Katrina victims! He also spoke at Bob Jones University which is a known racist Institution but was refusing to speak before the NAACP which is an organization founded by both Blacks and Whites to uphold Justice.), Torture, and Disingenuousness!
If any of these so-called Conservative Leaders on here had a CEO in a company that they owned who caused a marketing war with another company that they could not win that lasted for 7 years and cost the company a trillion dollars with no profits being made, lied about their dealings constantly, hired individuals that were not qualified to fill positions and overlooked those that were qualified, responded very poorly to company crisis, caused almost a million people to be terminated for no identifiable reason, had no vision for the company, illegally wire-tapped all of the company offices, and indirectly leaked important confidential information to major competitors, Would he still be working for that company? What would you do to him? This is nothing but "Bad Leadership" at it very best! Sounds so much like our current President don't you think???akes them feel better for being so wrong about their failure of a President GWB!

They probably think that bad mouthing anyone other than themselves will make people forget about their own political, moral, and social ills.
They have blind loyalty to president Bush, and they do not question any thing the man does. They would follow him over a cliff if he told them to. Support is one thing, but when our political leaders make decisions that are corrupt, ill advised, and down right harmful to the country, we need to stop supporting them.
There are some segments of the population that are so unsophisticated politically that they allow their views to be shaped by highly biased talk radio shows and so called political "news."
They don't question what they are reading or hearing. Instead they just allow themselves to be like sheep being led around by people in power who could not care less about them accept for getting their votes and support.

As an independent I hope their constant bad mouthing of Clinton refreshes the idea that both parties are corrupt and refuels the fact the Clinton was a poor president who just happened to be sitting in power while the economy was creating a false sense of growth.
By the way, theough I agree on three of your points, local and state government were the ones who were asleep before, during and after Katrina.

Why do Clinton supporters think that by bad-mouthing President Bush?
They will make people forget
- corruption scandal involving the white house
- 5-8 trillions of debt added to the national debt.
- He was sleeping on the job ... well maybe not, he just had a use for his cigar
Guess it works both ways, doesn't it?

It is a tactic called diversion. When you don't want the conversation to spotlight your side you divert attention to the other side. Even things of long ago and miniscule are to be targeted anything in the desparate attemt to deflect criticism and focus on your side's faults and problems and point the talk to your opponent.

It boggles the mind how they are equating the two very different sets of behavior as in any way related!
They seem to be losing their moral compass. This must be what scandal looked like in Victorian England. I suppose sex scandals were more shocking then than the injury and death of thousands and the wasting of national treasure in misguided wars based on deception.

First it was Abramoff. Second no one from the White House was involved with that. Third shortly after returning from Niger Joe Wilson's report was found to be totally false. The nigerian official mentioned in the letter confirmed that Iraq did in fact try to make a purchase and he also claimed that Wilson never even bothered to speak to him. In fact we were never able to find anyone wilson did talk to. And he refused to say. (Wonder why?)
He did allow the republican congress to run up the debt.He was not sleeping during 9/11. He did appoint the wrong man to Fema. But pointing out that Bill Clinton allowed us to be attacked 6 times under his watch and the fact the he did not allow our military to take out OBL goes to the point of the major league hypocrisy of the neolibs.

Bill Clinton is our EX president. Those of us with any brains know what should concern us is what's going on NOW. There is so much corruption that some tend to use history (mistakes and corruption) to try to distract from what's going on now.
