The questions I read on here are really sad, stupid, pathetic, and downright depressing. Are people really this dumb in real life?

Why aren't children learning basic knowledge in schools? They come on here and ask a question that a 4 year old should be asking, not a 16 year old.

Start studying folks. You're embarrassing your elders.

Yes.It is truly frightening.I think anyone over 35 years old feels the same way.Not just poor grammar, but a lack of historical knowledge and tolerance of everything and anything.

You’re right, but chill out. This is what Democracy is about. Some people do it for points, some do it because nobody will listen to them in the “real world” and then there are people like us who are actually interested in what others think. For example; I’m interested in politics but I got an aquarium for Xmas, and I don’t know anything about fish. This is a cool place to learn something. Keep the good stuff and ©#%+ the rest.

Thats not nice!

Its not that people are stupid, some are just not as educated as others. There are answers to questions here that I don't know, but I look at other answers and now I know!

You should not be so critical of what others lack in terms of knowledge. Most people are here to educate themselves, learn new things, get a better understanding of what they don't know. Some are here because they have no one else to talk to and turn to people here for friendship, or just to talk. Many lives may have been saved here, or problems may have been resolved.

As far as the teenagers here, how much do you really expect them to know compared to adults and/or seniors?. Maybe that is why they are here. Some of them may be here for fun, but others could be here for others reasons.

Regardless of our reason for being here, being stupid is not one of them.

You do realize that some may not be from wherever you are? That maybe their culture and learning are different from what you experienced? What is normal for you is something that might be totally out of their realm of the life they lead? A little tolerance is called for and less judging people by one question.

If you want to point fingers start with the government, and then look to the media.

As for Elders, they are likely just as responsible if not more so. If they don't care about shaping their offspring then who?

I'm half-inclined to agree with you, but you need examples to support your case, rather than a rant.
