It's either out of Linger by The Cranberries or Recess by Muse. I think they are both songs about lost love. I never really experienced this before, but just thinking about those songs makes me want to cry, especially the first one.

I don't really want to go into the story, but Asleep by the Smiths has always reminded me of my uncle who died when I was pretty young. He was a really great guy. That song is so haunting.
