Mage or Rogue?

which is better in PvE and PvP

For PvE I'd say it's probably the mage from beginning to end but the rogue is pretty strong overall depending on your build.

For PvP it has far more to do with the player than it does the class or build IMO. The mage and rogue can both be very strong in all PvP modes. A good rogue can totally stun lock somebody though, unfortunately next to nobody plays rogues very well IMO.

First and foremost, what game are we referring too here?

Secondly, how is the Mage outfitted? How is the Rogue outfitted? How does the combat for these two classes work? Does the Mage have good ranged combat spells? Does the Rogue get a damage buff for striking from the shadows/surprise? Can a Rogue strike from the shadows?




As you can see, your simple question isn't enough information for a decent evaluation of the two classes your looking at. Please, provide more information for a better analysis of your two classes.

to tell you the truth it is really dependent on the build you select with your talents...you need to do more research into which talents are good for what build.
