Do you want to really know the mentality and moral character of the people Bhutto was killed by? Then read the latest issue of Newsweek magazine, Dec. 24, 2007. There is an interview with Bhutto, a Q and A, that will make you shudder.

You probably remember the last assassination attempt on her. The method of bombing was a baby! A man in the crowd tried to offer up a baby for her to hold, but she refused. The man then offered the baby to a second vehicle whose occupants also refused. The third vehicle took the child which then exploded killing all the people inside.

This violence serves no purpose. It actually is counter-productive in the sense that it scares people from engaging in economic activity in public. Then the radicals claim the government is not doing its job because so many people are out of work. And so the cycle keeps spinning...in a downward direction.

In the end it serves no legitimate purpose. I suppose to the group this individual belonged to, it makes them feel like they have accomplished something.

If it were to serve a purpose, I suppose it would be to send a message that the organization responsible is more than just talk, and that can be a useful tool for recruiting new members or instilling fear, but for the most part it serves no useful purpose.

This is a terrible tragedy and my sympathy goes out to the people of Pakistan. Unfortunately, there will always be those whose only answer to any disagreement is violence. Pakistan zindabad!

It doesn't serve any purpose...unless you are a murderer. I think we need to stop trying to figure out why people do things and start saying we know they are going to happen, but lets work together to stop them before they do.

It shows us that Muslims cannot accept a woman leading a Muslim country. Once again the peaceful religion of Islam shows it's true colors.

Let's see how many Muslim leaders and imams condemn this killing. When it comes to cartoons or teddy bears, the Muslims know how to protest (often violently). But I wouldn't hold my breath here.

None!! Real men would stand and fight, not blow themselves up like cowards to afraid to face their enemy. This act sickens me, I hope harsh retaliation against the group that facilitated this ensues and they are all killed.

It serves to create fear - it was done by the extremist radical islamic factions that want to control everyone, and make everyone do as they say.

What use? It's the action of an Islamo-fascist. It's supposed to serve Allah, right?
