I think we wait and see how they handle this themselves.

Part of the problem with this assassination is that Bhutto was the kind of leader that could get this mess of a country back in the direction towards civility. Without that leadership, or someone to step up to take that, you're left with extremes of fascism and fundamentalism in the country, similar to other countries there as well.
The civilized world needs to realize you cannot make people become civil if they grow up thinking the best thing they can do with their body is to strap a bomb to it and run at people they don't like. The Middle East in general needs to enlighten themselves to this, and until they do they should be treated like every other 3rd world/'de'merging country.

While alarming, that event alone shouldn't shape policy in Pakistan. Its so hard to know if Mushareff was right and that a firm handed rule using things like martial law is necessary or if it is he himself that is causing the instability. Not that she deserved a violent death (nobody does) but don't forget that Bhutto was under indictment for corruption herself.
What I'm saying here is nobody really knows what is going on here in the West and even if you were in Pakistan you might not know whats really going on. Too many people have opinions based on scanty or misleading information.

Laissez Faire. Let every country decide its own future. The U.S has enough weapons to destroy the whole world and live by itself. in other words, if there is war, the U.S is gonna win it. The problem comes when big nations like the U.S become so selfish and controlling. That is when you know it will be brought down by a bunch of nomads even, because God doesn't like cruelty.

That is not the only country in the middle east with problems.
Iraq isn't all that stable. Then you have afganistan and syria and kurds. The problem is not with Pakistan, or those countries. It is with that religion and until it is banned there will be blood shed.

The USA and the UK should get out of the middle east and leave those people alone. Let them exterminate each other.
Nothing pleases them, it will never be enough.
Iraq has USA soldiers dieing every day to keep them from killing each other. Free health care and free rebuilding work for when they blow up their own buildings.
Yet they hate us and say we are the occupiers. Get out and leave them alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Buy oil from the winner in a thousands of year long battle they have with each other.
Listen to the ones who come to America and get everything from medical cards to special priviledges in school.
It is never enough, and it is never going to be.

While let them figure it out on their own may seem like the right answer, they are an extreme Muslim country that will export it's beliefs.
