You will have to buy a new heating lamp. Without it, your dragon's habitat will not be at the right temperature. Since your pet is cold blooded, it uses the heat from the heating lamp to heat itself. Without it, it will be too cold. I don't know if it will die, but you should buy a new one as soon as possible.

It's easy, MAKE SURE no glass is left anywhere, then go buy a new one. Either secure it better or keep the cat out of the room your beardie is in. They need heat to live since the are reptiles. Lamps aren't too pricey. Just keep a screen over the top if you don't already so the cat can't get in there OR the cat can't knock anything in there.

Take special care to make sure no shards are in your beardie's viv. If he ate one, there would be some serious consequences.

Just put in a new bulb. A regular household bulb is fine as a heat bulb...it doesn't have to be a specialty bulb at the pet store.

If the base of the old bulb is stuck in the socket, use a potato to push up into the socket to unscrew it. (Unplug it first!)
