I need to put my new stomp pad on my snowboard?

I'm on the snowboard team at my highschool. I just started this year but I'm totally into it. So we go to a camp for like 4 days and snowboard each day. I had already planned to go on this other vacation so I am coming home and going straight to camp. all my stuff is with my dad and i really wanted to put these star studs on my board but they say to let dry for 24 hours and i won't have nearly that long. would it be that bad if i only waited about 10 hours??
Do you know of any ways to make it dry faster??
oh by the way i also have to remove my stomp pad

You could use a hairdryer to warm up your board to remove your old stomp pad, but it won't help a new pad or studs adhere any faster.

The adhesive will cure faster if it is warm, but you don't want it really hot as it will get too soft. I would remove the old one, clean the board with rubbing alcohol, and then put the studs on and keep the board where it is warm as long as possible with some pressure / weight on them - maybe a book. Warmth and pressure will get the adhesive into the texture of the board faster. I would also make sure the board is really cold before you step on them the first time on the slopes - don't step on them until you've ridden the lift.

I suggest just waiting to do all this and take the time to do it right. If you hurry it now and one of your studs comes off or something, you'll feel awful and regret that you were impatient.

well, first of all, the star studs aren't that great. because, when it's really cold, they fall of easily. if you have a stomp pad with a bigger area, it is less likely to fall of due to the cold.

I would use epoxy but only put a little, then immeadlitly put it on the board as it dries real quickly. I hope that helps. you can buy it a lowes, walmart
