I do like Hairspray. I just wrote a review for another asker and she hates the new one. I like it because it's got a clean sense of humor, popping colors and Travolta is hilarious as a woman.

I loved it the plot is astounding!! The older one though has less music and is more classic, but definitely not as good as the new one!

It was OK... the songs sounded too recorded though, like they weren't really singing, and they were really long and boring. The rest of it was fine.
