No no it won't =]
Installing an expansion pack just adds in new features on top of your current game. All your existing families, lots, neighbourhoods and townies will still be there.
With new features such as "outerwear", all your old sims will be assigned automatically an outerwear. So you won't need to go through them all buying them all outerwear or setting anything up.
All your current neighbourhoods will start automatically in the season of Summer.
A new neighbourhood is added called Riverblossom Hill, and this starts off in winter and comes with a host of new charachters.
Everything will work just the same as before. Any new features will be pointed out to you by the Game Tips feature, make sure you enable it. A pop up will come up when you enter your first lot after installing the game, asking you to enable it.
any problems, feel free to msg me =]

Nope, the new features will be integrated with your old families, and nothing will change except those things added with Seasons. They will be issued outerwear; you don't get to choose it.
The only thing you need to consider is backing up your game. If Seasons doesn't work on your computer and you're forced to uninstall it, you will lose everyone. (Each new expansion pack changes the way games are saved, so if you uninstall any expansion pack, you will not be able to play your previous families.) My recommendation would be to back up your neighborhood (or package your lots to the Sims Exchange and redownload them), unless you're positive the game will work with your computer. (It takes more system resources than the back of the box says, particularly in terms of graphics cards and RAM.)

What you'll have to do is uninstall your Sims 2. Then it will allow you install the expansion pack. I've had to do this with expansion packs I have. You'll hav to choose between old Sims or new Sims.

i'm unsure what you advise, in case you put in all your video games and there grow to be sufficient room on your pc they might not have erased each and all the previous video games... in case you will open a company, circulate to universities, circulate downtown, and you have each and all the recent products and garments then the video games weren't erased... if all it quite is lost, then i don't be attentive to what to tell you!
