To work or not work? Sounds like a person who always considers work as in "work at a job for someone else".

The way to riches fame and fortune is to work for yourself in an enterprise or service that you own. You will never become rich working for someone else. You will earn enough for food, clothes rent etc but forget savings. The people getting rich are the owners, stockholders, senior management, directors.

Karl Marx talked about ownership of the means of production. he may or may not have been a communist but he was right on the money with that one.

obvious thing is paying bills, second is your body has to move around in order to function perfectly otherwise you will have ache all over your body. notice all hospital patiences cannot get up without a helping hand after laying there for days. if you don"t work, you will gain alot of weights, working keep the economy moving otherwise people will starve, become poor,or worst, commit suicide because they can live without money to buy foods and goods. work will pay for a nice vacation, work can make you goes to places that you enjoy such as dining, concerts,or sport events. work place that is so stressful can make a person unmotivated such as bad manager, employees unwilling to lend a hand,or bad paycheck. places that people don:t want to work is anything that is unpleasant for employees to be there such as smell, too hot,too cold, small facility, noisy, or no view.

I work because a person has to have money to live, and it gives me a feeling of self-worth, or self respect. I don't need someone else to "take care of me" financially and I feel good about that. I can buy what I want when I want without having to justify my purchase to anyone, and I'm making a small contribution to society.

The primary motivator for someone working is to provide shelter, food, electric power and phone service. In other words, to survive.
