I am buying a platinum band with 1/4 carat in diamond accents with a .97 carat H color VS clarity and very good cut round diamond . I have been quoted a price that I believe is fair but I wanna be sure I'm not getting ripped off.

I just went on bluenile and the diamond alone is no cheaper that $4k

we'll its really depends on the diamond and where you are buy it from ive seen 1 carat diamonds be as cheap as 200 dollars to as much as 1700 and more. plus the platinum bands is going to be expensive too id say at the cheapest the ring should be about 700 but it could be a little or a lot more expensive

Go to www.bluenile.com and enter all of your info, see what they charge for a diamond with those parameters.

I give you 10.00 thats how much my ex wife got it for when she pawned it. I paid 1,000 for it and after divorce she pawned it and got 10.00
