i don't have the owner manual so i don't know what fuse it is... i was thinking it could be the actual piece that the lighter goes into

try to connect any other device that works of the lighter like a car vacuum, a cd player or anything. if it does not work, it is is the fuse, if it does work, it is the lighter itself

Its a fuse. Your computer port wont work either, they are on the same circut. Make sure you replace it with the correct amp fuse (10 or 15 if I remember corectly). Just look at the cover of the fuse panel and check the fuse labled for the cig lighter. I bet its burned out.

look on the fuse panel and spot in case you probably did no longer blow one once you probably did the setting up. possibly the fuse which you replaced blew lower back. if that got here approximately, verify the electrical powered to the stereo.
