It would all depend on where I am.
If I was in the middle of gang territory then yes if I was just downtown no problem, been there many times in many cities.

I'd probably keep an eye on any large group of male teenagers out at nighttime if they were near my house... Not out of fear, so much as concern for property; They tend to be more vandals at that age than anything else... It also depends on what age when you say teenagers... I mean several 18-19 year old males could be a problem... You could have 5-6 of them though that were 15 or 16 years old and I'd be able to take on the whole lot of em so long as they didn't have a gun(s).
I could care less what race they were...
To the person before me (NAB); Do you know what benevolence means ? (NOUN: An inclination to perform kind, charitable acts.) Why would their giving off a sense of outright benevolence make you fearful ? I'm guessing you were thinking of another word... probably malevolence

I fear being around any group of teenagers in the street at night no matter what color... This is especially true if I don't know them. What would be the difference if all groups were just the same, just of different nationality? Then I would fear being around all of them. Everyone of them is still human, it makes no difference when you narrow it down to some people...

No.
I'm a teacher in a community where there is great diversity. I have found that black male teenagers are just as respectful as any other group of young males. Most of them hang out, not for reasons most often stereotyped, but they hang out just like any other teen group...for camaraderie and strong sense of family.
Now, if body language of the group show a sense of outright benevolence, I'd be a bit fearful...regardless of race or gender of the group.

I have to agree with the responder that said they feel uncomfortable around any teenagers at night. I live in a mostly white small city and it's poor. I don't feel safe outside at night. I know there is a drug problem in the area as well as violence. It's nice and quiet where I live but when I venture outside my area, I usually don't do so alone.

no. although i know some ignorant and self-hating people that would. it's contemptible. not the fear per se- but what they would attach it to. they try to claim a race as their object of fear, which couldn't be anymore revealing as to prove how much their minds have shriveled into a state of short-sighted dysfunction. however, such pinheads are only but a few minorities anyway.

No..I mean it depens where you are if you are in a bad neighbohood then yes I will afraid, and they don't have to be black..they can be any colo and I still be afraid, but if I know the place and some people and I know is my neighborhood then I wouldn't fear at all.

Depends on what they're up to. Are they a group coming from choir practice or a bunch of hoods looking for an easy mark.
