First of all, I'm deeply saddened by the passing of former Prime Minister, Benazir Bhutto. I didn't know that her death would affect me so deeply. She loved her country, and she seemed to have goals and visions for its future. This woman was courageous, tough, and smart.

As for the political ramifications? I really thought she would have been too big a political risk to assassinate, but I guess somebody thought otherwise. We'll have to see.

All I know is that I'm going to be pissed off at this heartless act for a long time!
