It's been very unstable , people are fed up with Musharraf and his corrupted puppet gov. Another reason for US to back off from ME, and turn it's foreign policy around ?!
The situation in ME is very fragile, use of force or puppet dictators are proving failures ?!

Best Regards.

You raise an excellent question here. I wondered myself how those in October felt and now here again more casualties due to association with Bhutto. Collateral damage? Are these the ones now storming Musharff HQ as the unrest grows in Pakistan? Will they fight AL Quada or the military? I would expect another Marshall Law decree and more trouble and deaths to come. Keep in mind also that Al Quada has been much more visible these past few months, coming down from the hills and the capital has been more violent than ever. Before this assignation.

I keep checking papers for breaking news. If you get anything new pls bring it to our attention. Thank you.

Pakistan is a nuclear power who is presently at a cease-fire with India over Kashmir. They have a huge radical islamists population within their borders. Instability within this country will spill into neighboring countries and will cause a dramatic impact on the region. Because of this, many countries within the region and the global community will be going to GREAT lengths to keep the calm in this country.
So i anticipate this will be a situation that will be hushed and quieted as best as possible.

I think we should take a step back before making rash decisions. The obvious winner of this assasination would be Musharaf but it could be just what Al Qaeda wanted, to turn public opinion against musharaf and remove him by force which will put the country into more instability.

It's hard to take vengeance when your enemy acts like a ghost.

Hopefully not. I do think the pro-democracy movement may become angry enough to challenge the rule of Musharaf and his terrorist allies. At least, I hopeso.

I'd say probably so- they are an uncivilized and blood thirsty bunch in the Middle East.
