Do you think we will loose Pakistan as an ally and they will return to military regime?

RETURN to a military regime? Musharaf is a military dictator and has been. That's why he had Bhuto killed--she was the leader of the pro-democracy movement that was threatening his dictatorship.

The Musharaf is not a friend of the US. We've spent billions on him, supposedly to fight the terrorists. Instead he's used the money to keep his country under a ruthless dictatorship. And is not fighting the terrorists.

That should be obvious. The terror attacks in Pakistan have targeted the pro-democracy movement. If Musharaf were going after the terrorists, they'd be targeting him, not his opposition.

No, I think it secures Musharraf as leader of Pakistan, and he is more or less our ally. Musharraf has made efforts to steer away from a military regime, hopefully he will not regress.

Bhutto was a terrible and ineffective leader, by the way.

Nothing changes in Pakistan or any such other country. From one dictator to another makes no difference to either it's people or for that matter, anybody else in the world.

No. There are others who hate the Islamofascist to take her place. This is a temporary set back. Just pray for victory.
