-Dwarf Frogs will DIE in water with any salt. Their skin is very thin and riddled with pores that can easily become clogged with salt.
-They sell Fiddler Crabs, which are actually brackish water crabs. They absolutely need air; without it, they will drown.
-Petsmart doesn't sell any crabs that don't need air.
-The Dwarf Frogs are usually less than $1.50, though prices vary from store to store. The crabs are usually less than $2, but again, prices vary.
-If the bag is properly packed (1/3 water 2/3 OXYGEN, not regular air), they can go for a few hours. If you open the bag to let fresh air in, they can last even longer.
-Fiddler Crabs need to be able to access the surface to breath. They don't necessarily need land, but they need a way to get air.
-You could have about 2-3 Fiddlers in a tank that is 3/4 BRACKISH water and 1/4 land (in the form of a log/rock that reaches above the water's surface). Unless you can maintain a small brackish tank that they need, do not attempt to keep them, or you will simply kill them.
-Give them a warm, cycled 10+ gallon tank with 1 male and as many females as possible (at least two). They will breed on their own, but they will eat their young, so you either need to separate them or give them a heavily planted tank for the fry to hide.

They sell fiddler crabs at petsmart and yes they do need air. They are escape artists so you need a secure lid. Those are the only crabs i've ever seen at petsmart or any other local pet store.

The bag needs to float in the water for 15 minutes. Then add some of your water to the bag and let it float for 15 more minutes. Then add more of your water to the bed and let it float for 15 more minutes. Then net the fish out of the bag, put them in your tank and discard the bag with the water.

Dwarf frogs do NOT enjoy any aquarium salt in their water, they need very soft water to be healthy.

No idea, go look for yourself to see what is there, or call. But as a rule of thumb, ALL crabs need to be able to get to the air!! Most crabs are semi-terrestrial . As for price, again, go look for yourself, all stores vary.

Fish can live a while in a bag, depending on how they are packed. For how a petstore bags them, I'd say you have several hours if you have only ONE critter per bag.

Refer to the link below on Fiddler crab information.

And with swordtails, they are livebearers. Put them in a large enough cycled tank with one male to two females, and hiding places for fry, and you WILL have fry!
