For a day or forever? Could anything stop you from watching or make you never want to watch again?

This is just a fun question, don't take it to seriously.

If Greenbay decided to quit football and never play again... then they decided to join the Canadian curling competitions and then they someday went pro... then i would have to start watching curling. Now if they quit that and went into kaber tossing i'd drop curling in a heart beat and become a kaber tossing fan. If they then decided to play cricket... well then i'd have to pay them a visit and smack them upside the head... then i'd be like "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING" After that we'd have a long talk over a few beers and i'd explain to them the importance of them playing football, and they would then rejoin the NFL, and then i could start watching football again... problem solved.... so basically i would never stop watching football as long as Greenbay was still in it..... cuz if it ain't Packers... its crap.

Only certain events could keep me from watching football for a specific game (wedding, emergency room visit, birth of my child, etc) but i don't think there is anything that could keep me from watching Football long term.

Well, if we had an ice storm.. all the power was out.. and my portable generator wouldn't start,, or then my car would run out of gas before I could make it to my brother's house where his generator would be running. It would be aweful. But, that would only be for a college game I wanted to see to go through all that trouble.

For a day, I wouldn't mind, but forever, doubtful, lol. Wouldn't take much for me to stop for one day. Let's say my g/f or fiancee or wife wanted me to do something one Sunday, then yeah, I'd stop for her and her only. Nothing else would stop me. Not the end of the world, nothing. Only the love of my life could have such power over that.

Possibly a Regional power outage. But if I could drive to the next town and find some voltage, or go loot a hardware store for some generators.....I'd do it.

NFL: an MLB-like steroid scandal (which is very possible considering the non-detect on some designer drugs).

College: not sure there really is anything to stop me cold. the colleges are in a tough spot bringing "student athletes" in to play knowing darn well that most of them wouldn't be there otherwise.

If I was in a bad crash and brought to the hospital in an unconscious state.........or if I was brought to Jail and put in a holding cell with no TV, Those are about the only two ways I can imagine.

If everyone hated my team, and made fun of them, and called them cheaters, and posted nasty messeges about them in this forum, I would have to hang up my remote control and never watch again. JK.................seriously , blindness comes to mind, and deafness too
