Overhyped. It was funny, I did laugh a lot -- but, the characters weren't very endearing and I honestly didn't care about the end. "Knocked Up" was similarly very funny, but when it was all added up they didn't sell the characters and their decisions very well. For instance, they didn't sell Katherine Heigl's decision to keep the child very well.

I work in a movie theater so I saw everything Superbad all the time. It was too hyped! Plus, when I did see it in theaters, I thought the language was a bit too vulgar. The F word was used in every sentence and they were in high school. I'm in high school and I don't know anyone whose got a mouth like that!

I hadn't heard of it when I went to see it in theaters, and I thought it was hysterical. So for me, it wasn't overhyped at all. I can see how people might come to that conclusion; they hear about it, watch it, and don't think it's funny. That's how I felt about Knocked Up.

Definitely overhyped. It was funny, I definitely agree with that, but it was ultimately forgettable for me. I can remember laughing at it, but I can't exactly remember at which jokes. I wouldn't watch it again.
