Probably,but it will eventually out-grow that size,and water quality will require frequent changes (maybe 2 times /week) as the fish grows.

he would do alright for a while but eventually he will outgrow your tank I have 2 tanks and I would suggest getting something like an african chiclid something that won't get too big too fast since you seem to like aggressive fish
