Musharraf will remain in power. And he may use it as an excuse to institute more martial orders on society, to prevent another opposition leader from growing their influence.

Well, that Bush's puppet Musharaf has succeeded in eliminating the leader of the pro-democracy movement, I expect he will also use Bhuto's death as an excuse to further crack down on pro-democracy forces. That's been his pattern in the past: allow the terrorists to create trouble, then use tha tas an excuse to clamp down on the Pakistani people. You'll not he carefully does NOT go after the terrorists. Just people advocating for freedom in Pakistan.
Taht's the obvious plan. The real question is whether this will incite enough popular anger in Pakistan to triggger a general rebellion against Bush's puppet government there.

It'll seriously suppress any real opposition to the bloody little creep running the place now. What's too bad is our own government gave little support to Bhutto and thereby implied an indifference to the predictable misbehavior of those in power over there.

I think it is too early to say, but obviously it will not have a positive effect. We can only hope that patience will win and no quick retaliations will come out within the next few days, because that will just cause the situation to spiral further downwards.

looks like bush might get his nuclear armageddon after all
it was just reported yesterday that are aircraft carriers in the area have been fully resupplied to battle ready status and the admiral in charge has been planning an aerial attack on Iran
since bush always attacks the wrong country anyways, looks like the stage is almost set
