If the person is actually angry enough at me to say that, I know I have gone too far. It depends on whether apologizing would mean anything or not, but I might.
Otherwise, I hear it enough that it doesn't ruffle my feathers at all. Depending on the people I'm with, I'd probably toss it into the conversation a time or two myself. It's not my favorite phrase, but when it is part of the normal way of talking, I just go with it. (Now, you're a f'n ^sshole would bother me, but I would just walk away)

Normally I would get mad. It really depends on how the person says it. I have been asked in the middle of foreplay and I said YES YES YES

give them a dirty look and say "If only I could sink to your level..." and probably other stuff, but i tend to be wittier on the spot so im not sure right now.
But i think out of all of these, Rock.Missy.C has the best answer. at least the funniest, by far!

I'd laugh b/c i had to have really pissed them off for me to get such an insult. angry people are hilarious! they look and sound so stupid. The reaction you get from laughing at them beats saying it back!
