By the way, private servers are against Blizzards TOS. If you have an active account with WoW, you agree to this every time you logon after a patch. Your account can be banned for playing on a private server. You might want to weigh whether losing access to your characters is worth it.

Uninstall and reinstall the game first of all, reactivate your paid account. Assuming blizzard didn't flag your account because you played on a private server, you should be ready to go. Otherwise you will be to buy a new CD key and create a new account.

Delete your realmlist and run WoW. It'll make a new realmlist. If that doesn't work go to your World of Warcraft folder and run the repair program. This deletes your addons though. No need to uninstall WoW.
