legend of zelda phantom hourglass-where is the temple of the ocean king?

im being prompted by every character in the game to go to the temple of the ocean king but i can't find it, and i have forgotten where it was.....HELP!!!!!

It's located on the northern area of the island you start on. Go to the area with the shops and follow the path north out of town and the west towards the temple.

Yep above answers right. Im glad Im not the only muppet - it took me ages to work out how to kill the rat with the key about two minutes into the game!
