Would still have to drive. It takes 1 hr 10 min to get there by car, I'd hate to see how long it would take me on a bike.

I do ride bike a lot as I am in to living healthy life. Utilizing public transport is also important. Gas prices and usage is way off chart in states. This whole question opens up debate and issues with me I believe must be addressed if the US is to continue to grow and prosper and ultimately that does not appear to be occuring in US at this time. We are so oversome by bigger and better, cars, houses, etc. Therefore, I think the gas companies and car manuf. are all together. They know we want, they make, we buy, no care about price or ecology....for all of you under 40, look up the gas embargo/lines of the 70's. that may come tru yet again.

I have a 39 mile ride to work, so no, I wouldn't ride my bike, but I would definitley look for an alternate mode of transportation...I remember when gas was $.99 per gallon, and I am only 27!

No...I have to take my daughter to her day care and unfortunantely, riding a bicycle 10 miles to get to her day care then 5 miles to my work would take a long time and would be a really uncomfortable ride for the both of us.

Well, would that mean that bus fares and taxi's hike up prices as well?
If so, then yes, I would bike there. Or I could call up my coworkers and have a huge carpool with each of us paying a portion of the gas price.

no its too far...i think i would quit my job if that happened. The public transportation where I live is too difficult to take to where I work and there aren't any stops close to my work. Riding a bike would take at least 4 hours for me bc i live so far from work

Well seeing as I move about 15 tons of metal a day, that wuld be kinda hard. And I don't think that my distrbutors or my smelters or my employees would be too happy about that.

No, I would walk, though. It is hard to ride my bike in the snow.
